Tucker Attacks John Edwards For Remembering Homeless Vets In Holiday Ad

On Wednesday’s Tucker, the hopefully soon to be unemployed host gets riled up because Democratic presidential candidate, John Edwards, had the nerve to mention homeless veterans and those less fortunate in his holiday ad. Tucker calls it the Scrooge ad, and then attacks Edwards for not being Jesusy enough, and mocks him for being wealthy. Tucker, as usual, is offensive, annoying and wrong.

1. Poor Tuck seems to be mixed up.

He seems to think Scrooge cared about the homeless and less fortunate. I think he meant it was a "Dickensian" ad instead.

Edwards wasn't Jesusy enough? What, no subliminal cross glowing behind his head like Huckabee?

And he mocked Edwards for being wealthy? What can be said about that other than the very cliched pot-and-kettle thing?

Tucker needs to go.

2. I saw all the Christmas candidate ads last evening over at a friend's

and I thought Edwards' was excellent and moving. Guiliani's made my eyes pop in incredulity. I wanted to thump him with a year old fruitcake. Huckabee's cross ad was :puke: Clinton's ad was light hearted and effective. Obama's was ho hum. They didn't cover Romney or any of the others. There was some advertising guy parsing the ads. He said that the Huckster's was frightening and that it was absolutely impossible that the cross was an accident. Obviously.

I saw that too and enjoyed Duetsch's comments (he's the Coultergeist outraged with her "Jews need to be perfected" remarks).

Why *would* anyone watch his show? He's everything good people hate in life.

What an irrelevant twit the man is. I think all those bow ties he wore over the years cut off the blood flow to his brain and caused permanent damage.

He's just so out of date: the opinions, the way he dresses, his hair style, he's just so...so...dated. Dan Abrams should cancel his sorry ass and run infomercials during that time slot. Or, they could run non-stop "1-800-2Sell-Homes" ads. They'd be more entertaining, and there would be more viewers.
