I want to know where they stand on ISSUES. I want to know about their record. I want to know WHO THEY ARE as a a person. how they identify with my views and interests. Their Foreign Policy views and record. Etc, Etc, Etc.

This is about being THE LEADER OF A COUNTRY, not a Beauty Contest.

And at the same time I understand how hung up we are in this country over things like appearance, so because of how far across the Rubicon we've taken it, I suppose we have little choice with it's focus and importance.

But I sure wish we could Grow Up and get away from it.
