CBS Soap names baby Reid ....John Reid Edwards
Victoria Newman baby...Young and Restless....This baby is supposed to be named it grandmothers maiden name, but it make you wonder if the righter thought about John Edwards middle name being Reid. Reid is John's mothers maiden name or surname whatever.

Second, I really think you're taking a real stretch of the imagination here. Reed/Reid is a fairly common name. And, on that show, the grandmother, Nikki Reed Newman, is a major character and has been for over thirty years; she was named, obviously, well and long before anyone had ever even heard of John Edwards, indeed, before he would even have been out of law school. Also, how many people are even aware that that is Edward's middle name?????????

Methinks you're doing some wishful projecting.

3. remember back in the '80s when Bill Cosby wanted one of the kids
on his show to have an anti-apartaid poster on his wall in his bedroom and nbc said he couldn't do it because it was too political. Cosby said then he would quit. He had the top rated show on tv so nbc caved. Then he named his grandchildren characters Nelson and Winnie.
