Kerry's voting record
Ok, the Repukes are in full swing attacking Kerry's record for having voted to cut defense. Does anyone have any info on this, what specific programs he voted to cut? The Repukes like to slam his record and never give any specifics to back their claims up, only vague "he's going to cut defense!" rhetoric. I would like to have some solid info to attack their claims, if anyone knows where to look...thanks!

1. on a local Clear Channel talk show (puke)

from Harrisburg, Pa, last week, the talking head listed so many many items that Kerry cut from the defense budget, and the dates of those votes, that my head was spinning by the time the guy finished. Within a half hour, a Democrat called in to say he was now convinced to not vote for Kerry.

You know, despite Dean picking up the label as the 'anti-war' candidate, he is NOT weak on defense.

Kerry is not going to win in November.

4. Yep.
Oh now one caller said he wasn't going to vote for Kerry? What fools we've been. If only we had nominated Dean like we were supposed to; there's no way the repbulicans could have pulled this crap on him. It's not like they would have said over and over again; Dean opposed this war and wants us to be pansies beholden to the United Nations. But now we we are doomed, because a Right Wing Radio show was able to convince one Democrat to not vote for Kerry. Oh woe is us! Wear is my sackcloth, my hairshirt?
