Karry - experienced - loses
Gore - experienced - loses
Clinton - incumbent - wins
Clinton - experienced - wins
Dukakis - experienced - loses
Mondale - experience - loses
Carter - inexperienced - wins
NcGovern - experienced - loses
Humphrey - experienced - loses
Johnson - incumbent - wins
Kennedy - experienced - wins
Stevenson - experienced - loses
Stevenson - experienced - loses
Truman - incumbent - wins
Roosevelt - incumbent - wins
Roosevelt - incumbent wins

Clinton and Kennedy is the only exception...but that was also still in the era of the smoke filled rooms

By definition I define experienced as more than one full term in the Senate, a VP or a two term governor.

1. Dukakis had experience
He served in the Mass legislature for 8 years and was elected governor 3 times.

2. With senators, it's hard to win because your record can be twisted through lies/half-truths.
It is difficult for people to discern truth from lies if the media simply reports it all uncritically. That's become an ever-increasing problem in this Republic: No critical examination of information by the news media.

5. Clinton had enormous experience
I don't get your point, people like Dukasis, Carter, FDR, and Clinton had a lot of experience as governors, and had other political jobs as well. And, Adlai Stevenson had relatively little experience.

That said, Senators have the toughest time getting elected because they are on record in a like of situations that require compromise or having flipflopped because times have changed. But, if that was your point, than Richardson would be the best choice.

6. Clinton's experiences were on the STATE level...something Hillary's camp doesn't count
If you count Obama's state experience, he has more elected experience than Hillary. That is the irony here.

7. Since the Obama people keep denying that Hillary has more experience, it's not a problem.
