Is Hillaryis44.org a campaign affiliated attack site? I had that question and
apparently so do others. See this Daily Kos item by Stephen Cassidy.

HRC: Going Negative?
by Stephen Cassidy
Sun Jun 24, 2007 at 10:50:57 AM PST
Peggy Noonan, former speechwriter for President Reagan, in yesterday's Wall Street Journal discussed Hillary Clinton's efforts to address the "likeability" issue and commented on the campaign song contest. Noonan then gets to the heart of her column when analyzing the website www.Hillaryis44.org.

A primary focus of the www.Hillaryis44.org is to go negative on HRC's opponents, presently Obama, by collecting and reprinting dirt on them. When one clicks on the "contribution" tab you are taken to the contributions page on HRC's main campaign website. At the same time, the site disowns any connection to HRC's campaign.

Is this true? Is the HRC campaign engaged in its own "swift boat attack" on Obama as the Bush campaign did in 2004 - going highly negative on Kerry but hiding behind a front organization?

If anything, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a republican site. It's a pretty foul site. I think HRC camp would try tone it down if they could.

27. Hillary is 44 is well funded
Hillary is 44 is well funded by a sub PAC of a 527 that is remotely related to the Romney organization. The idea being to feed false information through 44 which eventually gets bad press for Hillary and helps another candidate get the nomination.

Really unbelievable what the rethugs will stoop to.

28. Taylor Marsh, a partisan Clinton blogger who gets quoted a lot here, is a writer for that site.
Edited on Sat Dec-15-07 06:33 PM by ClarkUSA
Many of the talking points against Obama we see here everyday come from HillaryIs44 and sister site HillaryHub as well as Mark Penn stenographers
Taylor Marsh, The Left Coaster and Daily Howler -- all bloggers who've drunk the Kool-Aide and devoted many a blog entry to ugly, factually misleading
Obama hit pieces.

Hillaryworld learned a lot from the Swift Boat Vets, didn't they?
