Want to keep the debates open? Go here...
http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/2489/t/5103/petition.jsp?petition_KEY=752

IndependentPrimary.com has a petition for democracy addressed to Howard Dean, Democratic National Committee Chair, and Mike Duncan, Republican National Committee Chair.

Do it!

1. Both the Kucinich and Paul exclusions are fishy.
I support kucinich, so maybe I play up in my mind the amount of applause he gets at the previous debates. But I am an objective observer of Ron Paul at the republican debates, and he is very clearly supported by a decent percent of the audience. Also, each of them is being excluded from the debates for a different reason: Kucinich for lack of funds for local office, Paul for lack of popularity...Yet Paul has lots of funds and Dennis enough popularity.

2. Even more objective observers than you or I agree on this
I just hear it again the other day on Randi Rhodes. In Kucinich's case, "they are scared to death of him>" I believe "they" (read media and leading DLC candidates) are scare to death of the issues he's going to bring to the podium."

I know less about Ron Paul, but I've heard the same reaction and have eyeballs. I started seeing Ron Paul bumper stickers and signs more than a month ago in SW Pennsylvania (Democratic majority).

This is just as ridiculous as so call "election fraud" in disguise as "voter fraud". How stupid are we, anyway?

3. Thanks will do, also...
not having Dennis in the debate has removed a few
unpleasant topics from being addressed in front of a national audience.

---Single-payer health care

---Accountability/impeachment

---Draft Iraq Oil Law which facilitates foreign companies in the control and profit of Iraq's natural resources.

---Past voting records of other candidates which might be inconsistent with their current stance on a variety of issues. Not sure about Richardson, but almost every candidate given the chance to vote on an issue voted together, except the candidate who was just excluded from this debate.
