The Famous Fight In Afghanistan

Ever notice that nearly every semi-famous or famous person or one of their children in the military, that ends up going to war, ends up in Afghanistan rather than Iraq? Could it be that their needless death in Iraq would become a cause celeb while their death in Afghanistan would be considered necessary?

My son is in Afghanistan! And last time I looked I wasn't famous. By the way 2 tours in Iraq before now. According to my son we are doing a hell of allot of fighting there right now.

2. You've misunderstood

I didn't say that everyone who goes to Afghanistan is famous/semi-famous. I said that the famous/semi-famous appear to be only going to Afghanistan. I've no doubt that there's fighting there in Afghanistan. What in my post suggests otherwise?
