3. Don't these folks realize that THEY could be "terrorism suspects"?
All it takes to be considered a terrorist, as far as I can tell from Bush's "signing statements", is to disagree with administration policies in Iraq and be vocal about it.

4. It's shameful how many pro-facists there are
living in this country. I ask, would that be the result of polling in any civilized country?

7. Maybe they don't know what torture is
"Torture is the deliberate infliction of unbearable agony on a human being...a human being who is intentionally kept alive precisely is that he will suffer still more and for a longer period of time...for no justifiable reason. This is the embrace of sadism and cruelty for their own sake, and for no other end whatsoever." Arthur Silber

There is no "debate" as to whether waterboarding is torture. It has been considered torture since the middle ages and still is. The statement that there is a debate is a smoke screen of gigantic proportions. The "debate" is used to throw you off trail. Don't fall for it. Torture is repugnant, illegal and despotic. Torture is not the norm for a civilized country. The despot in the white house has no regard for any law whatsoever and will use any means to justify his ends.

It now comes to light that many members of Congress are complicit in the torture being done in our name. Even the speaker of the house is guilty of complicity in war crimes. Tell it like it is. Waterboarding is torture and torture is a war crime. No ifs ands or buts about it. Plain and simple.

This week the CIA has admitted the use of torture and some even say that it works. Some say that we NO LONGER have to torture. Some say let's torture everybody that MAY have information of terrorism. It is now a fact that you or me can be picked up off the street as a suspected terrorist, sent to a foreign country and tortured with no recourse to you except to give the answers they want to hear. Then you will be deemed guilty, without a trial, and be sent off to spend the rest of your days where the sun does not shine...at the very best.

And the shit-hole that is called our government smiles at you and tells you that they are doing some important business of the people. Lying bastards all.
