Criminal Justice advocates should be banned from DU
Edited on Sun Feb-22-04 04:49 PM by mdmc
Lets face - the positions Nader thrives on are not electable positions. DU posters that support unpopular positions should be banned until after the general election. There is no need to reform the Democratic Party or its positions. We just need to stifle dissent.

3. I'm not the thought police
You can think whatever you want, just don't post it here. Every time the Democratic Party is questioned, every time our positions and policies are criticized, Bush gains ground.

Anything that can be construed as hurtful to the chances of the Democratic Party Candidate should be banned.

8. Well I'd like to see Nader bashed into next week.
He is a colossal asshole, an egomaniacal loser, with no hope of accomplishing anything for anybody other than himself. I do not fear him, he is a joke. I do, however, find his monumental ego to be especially galling, considering that he has nothing new to offer, and no solutions. Just more of the same old blather from little Ralphie.

Other than that, with all the vitriol that Ralphie generated in 2000, did you expect him to be received here with open arms?

9. What would you rather see -
Nader bashed or Bush bashed?
You can only do one.
You gotta serve somebody.

11. YES
Lets just build our party... pick posistions that are the most electable / defendable, and make our case for the presidency!

My green friends want to destroy the Democratic Party. Democrats need to keep their eye on the prize.

13. What are the Democratic Party's positions?
Edited on Sun Feb-22-04 07:41 PM by HypnoToad
As you see them? Who does the Democratic Party serve, apart from giving priority to the big businesses who give them the most money, proving that no major political party is by, of, and for the people.

(No, I'm not about to support the Green party. I'll vote Dem because a slow death is preferable to the rapid death that the pukes bestow upon us.)

I just want to make sure I don't end up on the dissenter list, and stifling dissent can lead to murder too. :-)
