I'd Like To Thank The Founders For A Well-Designed Government

The Executive branch is evil, insane, and stupid (we hit the trifecta - lucky us).

The Legislature is filled with narcissists, appeasers, and triangulating rogues.

But the Courts are still functioning. Just today we had two good decisions - judges are allowed to use good sense in sentencing, and parts of the "Patriot" Act are unconstitutional.

The Founders knew that we'd do stupid things, and elect ne'er-do-wells. They designed the Courts as the bulwark of the Republic until We The People finally got a clue and cleaned house. So far, it's working.

So thanks George, Ben, Thomas, John, James, and the rest of you. Now it's up to us to clean up.
