Random Musings On A Saturday Morning
1) Gawd, the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Heat are terrible... It's a tough time to be a South Florida sports fan... I know most of you couldn't care less...

2) It's petty of other candidates and supporters to criticize Obama for exploiting his Oprah endorsement... They would all like to have it...

3) Now that Edwards is falling into a distant third (if you believe the latest polls) expect him to turn his fire on Senator Obama... This race is shaping into the classic traditional candidate versus insurgent candidate battle which is not unique to either party... Think Bush* v McCain and Gore V Bradley in 00... Hillary Clinton is the traditional candidate and Barack Obama is the insurgent... John Edwards thought the insurgent mantel was his... He has to be pissed that Senator Obama has taken away his mantel...

4) Hillary Clinton was attacking Obama in the hope that a fight with Obama would hurt both of them and that John Edwards would be the beneficiary... She would much prefer to face John Edwards mano a mano than Barack Obama ...

5) Mitt Romney's "I'm a cool Mormon" speech and Huckabee's surge is great news for Hillary... It's occupying the main stream press' attention span which is that of a five year old; with ADD... It gives her time to retool her gaffe prone campaign...Even Oprah's lollapalooza is good for Hillary... She does best when she is not the issue...

6) The Huckster will win Iowa... He will not win New Hampshire... I don't know what happens next....

1. reasonable analysis
1) sorry about that

2) agreed.

3) hope so.

4) yes.

5) probably true.

6) I'm not surprised Huckleberry is doing well in Iowa, although I expect he will start taking some pretty brutal attacks from his opponents soon. I still think Romney will win the nom.
