Edited on Fri Dec-07-07 09:26 PM by Dawgs
The answer is no.

Hillary hasn't admitted any mistakes for the IWR or K/L votes.

Obama has admitted it was a mistake to miss the K/L vote in a debate a few months back, and Edwards has admitted that his vote for the Iraq war was a mistake.

I'll go with Obama and Edwards over someone that can't admit voting for something that has killed thousands of innocent children.

1. Why Should She? She Hasn't *Made* Any Mistakes!
Mistakes are for little people.

Hillary is the all-knowing, all-seeing, the all-triangulating.

OM.

2. All that does is make everyone look bad here who said it wasn't a mistake that he missed the vote
Half his supporters came out yesterday and said how it was better to miss the vote and be right. Well I guess Obama doesn't agree with any of them. lol

This thread asks a legitimate question that bothers many a liberal Democrat
The countless Obama bashing threads seem useless to me. But then again, I'm a liberal netroots citiizen who's
disgusted by Hillary's neocon warmongering IWR and Kyl-Lieberman votes.

40. As always, you don't bother with facts.
Hillary said she made mistakes when she advocated for health care in '93. Here are a few more times she admitted mistakes:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's slow-motion repudiation of one of her husband's signature achievements, culminating in her statement last week that NAFTA had been a "mistake," signals both the changing political environment and a different style of Clinton campaign. Forget the Third Way. Maybe the First and Second Ways weren't so bad after all.

This was not the first time Hillary Clinton has distanced herself from Bill Clinton's policies or governance philosophy. She has vowed to scrap the "don't ask, don't tell" rules her husband put in place allowing gays to serve in the military but only if they do not admit to being gay. She has called for repealing part of the Defense of Marriage Act, which tried to limit the spread of same-sex marriage and which her husband signed, albeit reluctantly.

15. Oh, I agree absolutely. Given his history, I know that Obama really
wanted to vote for a bill that would authorize Bush to call the Iranians terrorists and take steps to stop them. Obama hid out in New Hampshire because he was afraid of all of us peaceniks. Thank heavens Senator CLinton was brave enough to step forward and support this bill.

Of course I reject your characterization of the Kyl-Lieberman vote...

I understand your strategy...I mean Obama has a continuing pattern of ducking the tough issues when he is called to take a stand...

So...in a tried and true DU technique, pivot to...wait for it...make it about Hillary....unique strategy there...

31. No...
It is the willful denial of his supporters to see that truth...

Not only did Obama not return for the vote when it was well knowit woudl occur...he showed no leadership on the issue at all...made no statement in the floor debate...made no attempt to kill or alter it...made no comment about it in the debate that night...and in fact uttered not a peep until 9 hours after the vote when he decided it would help him politically....

Like I said...a pattern

37. I don't find any politician genuine
and I include both Clintons in that assessment. In fact, I find DU's obsession with personality and character and its quest for a "leader" to be quite funny. For me, looking for a genuine politician is like searching the Emmies for a modest entertainer.

I can find things about all of them I don't like, but watching the Obama and Clinton camps argue over which one's vote/non-vote was better is just insanely dumb. When I'm being the mature one something is definitely wrong with this picture. :)
