John Kerry was magnificent in the "This Week" exchange with John Edwards.
I thought John Edwards looked equally impressive.

I am so proud to be a Democrat!

1. I agree with you--they were both outstanding.
Stephanopolous also deserves credit for behaving the way a host ought to--raising tough but fair qs and letting the candidates answer them without nastiness, shouting, interruptions, silliness, etc.

2. I thought so too. I love John Kerry
and will vote for him on Tuesday March 2. I also like Edwards but I think Kerry is better suited to my ideas.

4. I know it's too much to hope for
But if Kerry doesn't take Edwards as his running mate, he'll take someone equally youthful and Southern.

3. what an extraordinarily positive post
watch it will sink like a stone. :) Meanwhile, America will see the brilliance of what the Democrats are offering to replace Bush and reward us with the WH in November.

6. It was an incredible show, Go Democrats!
Kerry did excellent. Looked healthy, energetic, and presidential.
Edwards did a very find job as showcasing how he is a viable alternative in the primary.

The host also needs thanked for his sensible style.

Makes me very confident this upcoming election.

9. I loved how Kerry laughed
at some of the absurdities of Bush's comments. It seems he plans to hit a theme that * lies--his statements are ones everyone agrees with but his actions are different. Kerry was very careful to lay out policies to backup his claims.

Edwards seemed somewhat tired but he was great also. I like his theme that he understands middle class people and that the chimp needs to see reality.

I'm proud of both.

11. It was a great show! Steph did a great job getting the Dem message out
George Will couldn't even take them apart in the end --although he tried of course.

It was almost a debate with Bush without actually having to have the creep present. Great clips demonstrating his devisive attacks. At one point Edwards was nearly saying of Bush, 'What the f**k is he talking about?'

14. Look out Tim Russert!
A new Sunday morning interviewer is on your heels... and he actually wants to hear what Democrats have to say.

Nice to see some civility on TV in the Matthews-Novak-Carlson-O'Reilly-Hannity world.

15. Kerry-Edwards, Edwards-Kerry...either way, I'm happy!
IMO, I think we're looking at a Kerry-Edwards ticket -- my guess is that Edwards is hanging in to showcase himself a bit, and to prove that he can garner votes, especially in the South.

I'm backing Edwards, but I have *no* complaints about a Kerry-Edwards ticket!

:kick:

17. It definitely showed that they both would toast Bush...
...in a debate.

They are two great spokesmen for our side.
