1. The latest Zogby shows Dennis with a gain.
Biden too. Edwards stayed the same, and everyone else lost ground. I hope this signal good things for Dennis (and Joe) in Iowa.

7. Dennis will do better
He is in the best position to beat the expectation game and surge.

Of course the media would have to play ball with it.

30. Well
It doesn't even require his campaign to go out and sell short.

However the expectation game only woks if the media pays attention to it.

to meet with him face to face and get to know him.

13. So a republican polling firm is more credible than the other polls?
Edited on Wed Dec-05-07 07:25 PM by rinsd

Not discounting the results but it would seem you associate credibility with confirming your own feelings.

17. It is is more credible than the old phony polls Pete Daou and Mark Penn tried to palm off on Monday.
And to discount a republican polling firm's results is as ridiculous as a freeper discounting Democratic polling firm results.

"And to discount a republican polling firm's results is as ridiculous as a freeper discounting Democratic polling firm results"

Except I didn't. I thought your assertion was ridiculous.

Old & Phony polls? Those polls had just been released and one of them was conducted by Pew Research.

Of course their time frame should be taken into account. And it was.

20. Gee...Hillary Supporters liked Strategic Vision when Hillary was way ahead!
Now the picture has changed!

date Clinton Edwards Obama

11/9-12 29 25 27

11/23-25 29 23 29

11/30-12/2 25 25 32

Regardless of the poll, it uses the same methodology. So, when you see the same poll get different results, it shows trends.

Clinton down....Edwards steady.....Obama up. Those are the trends according to Strategic Vision.

Doesn't matter if it is a Democratic poll, Republican, or Independent....comparing apples to apples and oranges to oranges, we see that Clinton is going down and Obama is going up according to this poll.

Which tends to go along with other polls. Face it, Hillary used to be so far out front that you would need a telescope to she her back side. Now the race is trending towards Obama. I don't think any serious observer could disagree with this. Now how long this trend will continue, whether it will be permanent or temporary or whatever, is subject to speculation. But right now, for more than a few days, this has been the trend. In Iowa. In NH. And in National polls.

It is time for the Hillary backers to bash Obama some more! Go for it!

33. I posted SV dozens of times always with the caveat of their leanings.
And I wasn't arguing the trend.

Merely the moronic suggestion that this poll is somehow more credible because it confirmed the other posters preconceived notions.

11. Also interesting: even repubs want us out of Iraq
(from link in OP: http://www.strategicvision.biz/political/iowa_poll_120607.htm )

Even (Iowa) Republicans apparently want the US to get the hell out of Iraq:

4. Do you favor a withdrawal of all United States
military from Iraq within the next six months? (Republicans Only)
Yes 50%
No 38%
Undecided 12%

(and dems even more so:
6. Do you favor a withdrawal of all United States
military from Iraq within the next six months? (Democrats Only)
Yes 83%
No 6%
Undecided 11%
)

15. Obama Trying to Have it Both Ways?

Obama Calls Iran a Threat to World Peace
by John McCormick
Chicago Tribune

http://pewforum.org/news/display.php?NewsID=12916

Seeking to woo Jewish votes and contributions, Sen. Barack Obama told an audience in Chicago on Friday that he considers Iran "one of the greatest threats to the United States, Israel and world peace" and pledged he would try to end Tehran's uranium-enrichment program.

Wow and Obama was a No Show for the Kyle Amendment? Guess we know where he stands now.:spank:

29. Here are his killer quotes
http://www.rawstory.com/news/2007/Edwards_Iran_must_know_world_wont_0123.html

"The challenges in your own backyard – rise of Islamic radicalism, use of terrorism, and the spread of nuclear technology and weapons of mass destruction – represent an unprecedented threat to the world and Israel.

At the top of these threats is Iran. Iran threatens the security of Israel and the entire world. Let me be clear: Under no circumstances can Iran be allowed to have nuclear weapons. For years, the US hasn’t done enough to deal with what I have seen as a threat from Iran."

"The vast majority of people are concerned about what is going on in Iraq. This will make the American people reticent toward going for Iran. But I think the American people are smart if they are told the truth, and if they trust their president. So Americans can be educated to come along with what needs to be done with Iran."

:wow:
Wow indeed

<snip> WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton's lead over rival Barack Obama in New Hampshire has narrowed to single digits a month before the state's primary election, said a poll released on Wednesday.

The Washington Post/ABC News poll showed the U.S. senator from New York leading Obama 35 percent to 29 percent in the race for New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primary on January 8. The survey had a 4 percentage point error margin.

Former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards was in third place with 17 percent, followed by New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson at 10 percent
