Brand Spanking New Hampshire Poll-The HRC- 37% Obama 23% Edwards 18%
That’s the key finding of a new poll of 1,343 likely primary voters taken Nov. 28 to Dec. 2 by the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion.

The poll shows Democrat Clinton leading Barack Obama, 37 to 23 percent, with John Edwards at 18 percent and no other candidate in double-digits.

In a November Marist poll, Clinton led Obama 36 to 25 percent.

9. Its his highest since May. But its the 4th or 5th poll in a row showing him a strong 3rd.
It looks like Richardson has slipped a bit.

2. Hillary has a good firewall in NH
even if she loses Iowa, I think Hillary will win NH, and be in a good position. I still think Hillary has to be considered a heavy favorite to win the nomination.

4. We Shall See
Bill Clinton parlayed his second place finish in NH to the presidency...If you remember he was leading in NH before the Gennifer Flowers story broke, then he lost some ground, and gained a bit of it back...

The Clinton's are not quitters...

5. I guess it depends on whether NH does a "me too" after Iowa.
Kerry was in third place in NH when he won Iowa (iirc), and NH did a turnabout and he won there, too.

6. NH Was Also Kerry's To Lose Given It's His Neighboring State And Part Of The Same Media Market
Edited on Wed Dec-05-07 05:18 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
If she wins or loses it , it will have little to do with IA, imho...

I imagine if she loses IA HRC will be in New Hampshire telling them they shouldn't allow IA to tell them how to vote...

11. Rightly Or Wrongly His Campaign
Rightly or wrongly his campaign imploded after losing a state , IA, he was favored to win , and then the way the media portrayed his "scream" as the mark of somebody who was unbalanced...

And NH was always Kerry's to lose...It's his backyard and part of the Massachusetts media market...

25. Dont forget to consider the medias hammering of Dean
Between IA and NH. I think it was more that than "me too-ing" with Iowa.

3. Wow, that's the higest Edwards has polled in New Hampshire in a long time! Decent numbers for
Hillary, too. She hasn't polled that high in New Hampshire since early- to mid-November.

10. I need to start answering my phone when I think the ID is a pollster.
I'm leaning toward Obama and I still think lots of his N.H. voters have only cell phones and are not polled.

17. Very Important Observation, Many DO NOT HAVE LANDLINES
which skews results of phone polls. Absolutely a point that CANNOT be refuted.

Obama and uncommitted people MUST read this story on Obama.

Obama Calls Iran a Threat to World Peace
by John McCormick
Chicago Tribune

http://pewforum.org/news/display.php?NewsID=12916

Seeking to woo Jewish votes and contributions, Sen. Barack Obama told an audience in Chicago on Friday that he considers Iran "one of the greatest threats to the United States, Israel and world peace" and pledged he would try to end Tehran's uranium-enrichment program.

Wow and Obama was a No Show for the Kyle Amendment? Guess we know where he stands now.:hurts:

December 05, 2007
POLL: Marist/Union Leader New Hampshire Primary

A new Marist University/Union Leader statewide survey of 1,343 registered voters and resident likely to register in time to vote in New Hampshire (conducted 11/28 through 12/2) finds:

Among Democrats, Sen. Hillary Clinton leads Sen. Barack Obama (37% to 23%) in a statewide primary; former Sen. John Edwards trails at 18%.
Among Republicans, former Gov. Mitt Romney (at 29%) leads former Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Sen. John McCain (both at 17%) in a statewide primary; former Gov. Mike Huckabee trails at 11%.
We will post full results as soon as they are available.

The poll was conducted by Marist University...I suspect the actual data will be forthcoming...If you have (evidence) that Marist University is corrupt, produce it...

18. ABC/WP paints a different picture: Hillary's lead shrinks to 6%
Maris has a weird sample that I honestly never saw before: "registered voters and resident likely to register in time to vote in New Hampshire".

But are they likely voters?

If ABC is right then there's been a big movement toward Obama that should show up again.
