Clinton staffer who received racist email about Obama registered immediate disgust
Edited on Wed Dec-05-07 04:00 PM by cali
This guy does not deserve to be slammed. There's a post here about how other Clinton staffers were either in on the disgusting email sent out, or were tacitly approving it. Politico has updated their piece about this:

"UPDATE: The Clinton campaign forwards Callanan's immediate response to the email which, though he didn't pass it on to the campaign, reflected his disgust at it:

From: Ryan Callanan
Sent: Wednesday, November 21, 2007 9:49 AM
To: 'Judy'
Subject: RE: Meet Barack Obama]

I’ve gotten this forward before. It’s racist and ignorant. I can’t believe that people believe this stuff.

Ryan"

3. Whoopi did it the other day
On the View. Don't feel bad. It's good in a way though, because that means the smears will be a joke by the time the right tries to use them in the GE.

6. Don't feel bad. I once wrote an exam essay on "Norman the Conquerer"
in an English History class.

Fortunately I caught it just before turning the paper and told the professor, who had a big laugh at my expense, but gave me a good grade.

5. From what I've read they had no idea
that the person sending this shit out was a Clinton volunteer cooridinator. If I'm wrong, please post a link showing that they did know.

7. From Ben Smith at The Politico.
UPDATE: The email address for the sender is associated online with the name "Judy Rose," and there's a Judy Rose as one of 250 members of Clinton's Iowa Women's Leadership Council.

9. How on earth do you figure that demonstrates
that they knew that jcheroke was judy rose. And even if they knew it was sent by someone named judy rose, why would you think that they know the names of all 250 members of this Council???

Mr. Callahan's immediate reaction shows his clear disgust. There's no reason whatsoever to believe he knew that someone associated with the campaign was doing this.

You're stretching at best and if you keep insisting that people in the Clinton campaign knew about this, when there is NO evidence to support that position, you're smearing. Don't go there.
