Justice Stevens is 84 and doesn´t duck hunt with Cheney

Any progressive familiar with the working of the High Court likely have respect running out of their ears for Justice Stevens. Yet, he is 84 years old. He will not be there for long. If W gets to nominate in his place it would spell disaster for us all. Will I consider voting for Nader this time like I did in 2000? Not a chance.
My tribute to Justice Stevens and to my commitment to not have his good record replaced with another fundamentalist duck hunting with Cheney Bill of Rights ignoring judge who would considers Brown v. Board of Education ¨judicial activism.¨
1. What I wonder is, why didn't Nader voters consider..

the staffing of the SCOTUS in 2000? No offense, but this one issue alone would suffice to convince a sane "progressive" not to chance bush getting into the WH.
Then there's the issue of allowing two oilmen to get elected. What were Nader voters thinking? What did they think would happen when two oilmen got in? I don't get it. :grr:
