Ever since then, even though I'm a Dean supporter, I've laid in bed at night thinking about running my fingers through your curly hair. Forget Howard with his blue eyes and grin...my body, soul, and mind belongs to you, Ralph Nader. I love your megalomania, and the hysteria that pops up whenever you bring up possibly running for President this year. Oh, the power you have over the Democrats in how they bend to their knees, begging you not to run.

We didn't win the battle to elect Dean as the Democratic Party's nominee for President, but the war still goes on. Supporting the Democratic nominee (whether Kerry or Edwards) will help get our nation back on track. Supporting Nader's independent/3rd party run won't, IMHO.

having had the privilege of growing up and being educated in the 60's, I have profound respect for the figure of Ralph Nader. It offends me to the core when people spew their trash about him, while being absolutely clueless about his singular contribution. We have have the freedom of information act - thanks to Nader. The mere fact that he has to be defended among self-professed progressives in an era of overwhelming corporate dominance is indicative of how powerless and misinformed we have become. Nader is not an ego maniac--he has devoted his entire life to making this country the best that it can be. He has more courage than any puffed up pompous hero claiming military hero status from an unjust imperialistic military incursion causing undue human suffering.

I have seen Nader speak in small venues, in a room at the Princeton University store, and found him humble, informative and damn sight more interesting than any the pontificating pompous bores they shove down our throats as the most electable.
