FOX News Poll: N.H. Clinton-30% Obama-23% Edwards-17%
Clinton Narrowly Leads Democratic Hopefuls in New Hampshire

NEW YORK — Hillary Clinton narrowly leads the pack of Democratic hopefuls in New Hampshire, with Barack Obama coming in a close second. In addition, while Bill Richardson is barely on the radar screen nationally, he receives double-digit support in the Granite State and comes in fourth behind John Edwards.

Polling was conducted by telephone November 27-29, 2007, in the evenings. The total
sample is 1000 likely New Hampshire primary voters with a margin of error of ±3%.
Likely Democratic Primary Voters subsample n=500, ±4 percentage points

1. I feel dirty for following that link...
Not too surprised FOX is pushing bad news for Clinton as Good News!!
What’s interesting is that this seems to be not a surge to second place Obama, but reexamination of candidates even farther down the list. Edwards is closer to Obama than Obama to Clinton and Richardson closer to Edwards than Edward to Obama. An Edwards second or a Richardson third might shake things up as much as a Hillary defeat.
Looking at the primary vote among some key groups, by a 33 percent to 24 percent margin, women favor Clinton over Obama. And married women are even more likely to back Clinton (38 percent to 24 percent).
Among men the results are more evenly divided, although Clinton still has the advantage: 26 percent say they would vote for Clinton, followed by Obama at 21 percent, Edwards at 18 percent and Richardson at 14 percent.

The more NH looks at Clinbamawards, the better Bill Richardson looks!

2. Im somewhat surprised Bill Richardson hasnt moved up more...
Ive gotten six or seven mailers from his campaign in the last couple of weeks. The only other one Ive gotten mail from is Edwards... nothing from any of the others. Id have thought the mailers would have had more effect.

5. Same here (6 or 7 Richardson mailers). And 2 (1 or 2) Hillary mailers.
No Edwards mailers, and I don't think I got an Obama mailer either. W. Clark's endorsement of Hillary on the back of one surprised me.

7. Very interesting.
I wonder how the campaign decides who to mail to? I just double checked my mailer pile and Ive got 5 from Edwards. Meanwhile you've gotten none. And we have exactly the opposite situation with Clinton. Seems the only one mailing us both is Richardson.

In '04 as I recall, I got something from everyone. Then again... Im sure theres more to come.

4. I wish they'd show us the trend
These snapshot polls aren't as interesting, to me anyway, as the ones that show results from the same poll over a period of time.

6. If You Watched C-Span This AM You Would Have Gotten A Different Take
from those who are actually IN Iowa! Statements were made that Hillary may actually come up THIRD!!!

I for one am SICK of this daily, minute by minute polling stuff. Remember what they say... A Day In Politics Is Akin To A Lifetime... I've found from past elections that these things are a lot like my water bed, a wave with every movement!

8. Did you see the Heartland forum yesterday in Iowa?
Hillary wasn't even there - some say she needed to be in NH instead. So be it but her phone call to Iowa's forum sounded real cheesy and she was booed throughout the questions asked by the citizens of Iowa. Polls are not out for this yet and she will take a hit on this one.

9. I Also Discount The Booing Myself... Not Trying To Pump Her Up, As She
is my last choice, but I didn't "get" the boos myself. But I will have to say that I only caught the tail end of her questioning.

11. The last boo for her I didn't get.
When she was hanging up they booed her. It was a mix of boos and applause but... maybe they have a transcript somewhere? I'll have to check her answer to see why they booed.

12. I Think I Heard C-Span Is Going To Re-Run The Whole Thing Today At
4:30. They just said 4:30 after the event, so it may have been AM and not PM. Guess I could check their schedule for today.
