We are toast...

AN INCONVENIENT BOOK, by Glenn Beck is the number one selling book in the NYT Non Fiction best seller list...

This can only mean trouble as thousands of empty headed Yahoos have discovered a new idiot to tell them what to believe...

Be afraid - Be very Afraid...

At least his screed is number 2 on Amazon...

10. Ummm, I've got a few cans of smoked sprats from Riga, and they will hit the spot.
Of course, we may have to rustle a few of those blasted heifers who bellow day and night in the field across the street. The spring is flowing fine, and lots of flour and pasta in stock, when I read a scare story about wheat prices about to skyrocket!

I didn't know Beck was literate, did he dictate?

11. ghost written, I'm sure.
Sounds like you live in a place much like the place I live. My water's gravity fed spring water, and there are plenty of cows to rustle here too. In addition, our emergency food stock of smoked oysters, sardines, pasta vodka and other oddities actually exists. Friends and neighbors (about 30 of us) put together a food bank for emergencies back in 1999. It's not that we really believed in any of the millennium doomsday stuff, but somehow it just happened. Lots of nutty items in that cellar. Wonder if any of it's still good.

13. I live on an island that is on a feeder creek to the Tennessee River, and while not flooding now,
it has in the past and made our bridges or fords impassable for a week at a time! I actually live 45 minutes in non-rush hour from Huntsville, a city of a quarter million, and it's only 35 miles or so, but try to get thru the lights to get to the expressway! Forgiddaboutit. I gave up the urban life 3 years ago after a health crisis and while missing NYC and Omaha, won't move back again, maybe Vancouver, though! I prefer my water non-chlorinated and my dogs free to hunt all the squirrels without catching them they wish. And no fear of mugging (I still want that Skagen watch back the last group took at the point of a .22) but hard to get good pastrami -- I have to go to Nashville for that, but otherwise. . .

3. This is true...
But Beck is getting really really rich...

Proving once and for all it's not what you know that gets you ahead...

It's what assinine things you are willing to say that gets a front seat for the American Dream...

How Awful is that...

5. The best seller list is rigged by mass purchases through
right wing front groups. They'll be remaindering this garbage in January.

8. Learn these four words: THE HILLS HAVE EYES.
Which means, if you do go near the hills, be prepared to kill anyone and everyone you see. They're all psychotics who read Glen Beck and who have learned how to butcher human carcasses so they taste just like chicken. Bring lots of guns and lots of ammo.

9. Written in crayon, no doubt
I still find it hard to believe that anyone who could read would choose to read this crap.
