It's The Washington Post, folks: First Edwards' house sale, then Hillary's charity, now Obama's turn
Today's disgusting Washington Post front-page story featuring "rumors" about Obama being a Muslim (rumors can be true - these are lies) is just more of the same from the FRONT PAGE of The Washington Post this year. When not busy writing warm, laudatory articles about Mitt's five sons, they have taken non-stories and used them to imply wrongdoing by all three Dem frontrunners. In January it was John Edwards' turn, when he sold a house: http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/10050.html

In February, Hillary made the front page, for a Clinton family foundation:

Now it's Barack Obama's turn, as FReeper-type allegations are deemed worthy of front-page Washington Post coverage.

I am under no illusions that this will not become a flame war, but as you pile on the candidate(s) you most dislike, I hope you will at least consider the possibility that there is a pattern here, and it's all directed at the Democrats' leading candidates.

The Washington Post sucks (didn't used to), and this is just a taste of what's to come, no matter who the Democratic candidate may be. By the way, I wrote the ombudsman at the WaPo protesting each time, and did so again today. Doesn't seem to matter there, obviously, but I hope it does here, where we support Dems.

3. Imagine how bad it's going to be next October/November.
We thought Kerry had it bad, it will be awful with this election.

4. To think I use to admire the Post...
But top me they are a company paper in a company town...

And they have decided that the bosses are always right no matter how crazy...

5. All this blah, blah, blah about Obama allegedly being a Muslim
And the furor about "why don't they just state that it's untrue?" I keep wondering why we continue to allow them to make it such an issue. IOW, why would it be so bad if he was/had been a Muslim?

Oh yeah, they're evil terrorists. :sarcasm:
