Saturday, February 21, 2004Edwards Agrees To CBS/WCBS/New York Times DebateRALEIGH, NC: In keeping with Senator Edwards’ call for four debates across the country among the candidates for the Democratic nomination, the Edwards for President campaign announced today that Senator Edwards has agreed to participate in the CBS/WCBS/New York Times debate Sunday, February 29 in New York.
In a letter sent yesterday to Senator Kerry, Senator Edwards called for four debates between the candidates because “the American people deserve to know who we are, where we’re from, and where we stand on the issues. And I know that the more they hear from Democrats, they will see that there is only one choice in November: sending George Bush home and entrusting one of us to guide the greatest nation in the world.”

Well, now we have New York and California down. Now there just needs to be an Ohio debate and a Georgia debate. Let the voters hear our candidates and decide!
