4. You're right
I voted for Duncan Hunter to see if the number would change and it did it was at 18 when I voted now it's at 20, so we have another Hunter fan. :) Unless it counted my vote twice.

6. I love how at the bottom of the poll it says, "This is not a scientific poll"
That's the understatement of the year.

8. Accurate or not, the current result is probably correct
But I've also heard this morning on Thom Hartman's show that the candidates have been given the questions in advance. So, the poll question is moot.

9. Yeah but Ron Paul
has almost 4800 votes out of 5000 seems to be fishy.

10. This is what the Paul freaks do.
Spam polls to make fake support for their candidate, which gets him talked about. All this as opposed to say, talking about the issues he represents. But if they did that, how would they get the "OMG HE'S AGAINST WAR!!1!ONE" voters to vote for him after they realize he's an anti-choice racist?

11. That may or may not be true
I find it hard to believe the other thugs are not corrupt to rig polls... Election fraud, do you need to be reminded? Oh no the racist issue, again. Mark Twain was accused of being a racist, not that it matters now.

13. First of all
Paul supporters have a history of doing this shit, google it. One of the more active groups of internet supporters. Secondly, He IS a racist. Need I bring out the quotes? And what does mark twain have to do with anything? i wouldn't want him to be president either.

14. Ron Paul is not a racist
Secondly, He IS a racist. Need I bring out the quotes?

My wife went to highschool with one of Ron Paul's daughters and they were good friends. Ron Paul is not a racist. The "quotes" come mainly from an article that he intended to be tongue-in-cheek, but just went over all wrong. He regretted writing it (my wife remembers this because this was published during the time she was spending a lot of time in the Paul household).

Bear in mind that Paul represents the southern part of Brazoria County, and Tom Delay used to represent the norther part. The Delay supports considered the Paul supporters to be libruls. The Klan leaves recruiting materials on people's doors in the towns around there. This is real racism. My wife's father was a socialist Jew and Ron Paul got along well with him. Not racist behavior, folks.

This is not to say he isn't anti-choice (he is), or that he doesn't have other radical opinions (he does).

He isn't, however a racist.

15. Perhaps he shouldn't make racist remarks if he isn't, in fact, a racist.

16. Okay all the other supporters
are exempt from spamming. Only the Ron Paul supporters are capable of spamming and being dishonest. If you say so. The only reason I brought up Mark Twain because I find the race card usually weak and cheap/easy way of smearing. I don't know what's in Ron Paul's or Mark Twain's heart. Since Mark Twain was before my time, it makes it even more difficult.

If you bring the quotes, also bring the rebuttals from the Ron Paul camp. I do know this, there's three sides to a story... One side... the other side... and then the truth. I look at a story like I look at a coin, tales, heads and without a doubt the edge of the coin.

Peace.

12. Actually, I'll agree with this poll
Edited on Wed Nov-28-07 03:13 PM by Kucinich4America
The establishment pukes will be on "message" with the Rovian talking points, which will probably be....

1) 9-11, fear, and terra (Rudy will get stuck on this one)

2) Them goddamn brown people sneakin' into White Christian America (Can Tancredo even THINK about anything else)

3) How "great" the economy is - if you're an oil executive or a defense contractor.(Mr. Bain Capital himself, naturally)

4) Hillary is the antichrist. (The rest of them can fight over that one)

Ron Paul is probably the only one who might speak to real issues, at least from his perspective.

And for the record that is NOT an endorsement of him.

20. I have to admit, in principle, the idea is intriguing...
a big F-YOU to both parties.

In practice, it would be awkward at best. It reminds me of one night when I camped out for Grateful Dead tickets. It was the same day tickets went on sale for an Amy Grant concert. There was an interesting mix of people outside the record store that night.

known that RP supporters somehow use servers to vote, and to change the numbers. There were several post about this on MSNBC message boards. As I said, I have no idea how they do it, just what I was told. I think it's because they use a lot of other IP addresses, that are not static, so they can vote as many times as they want. Plus, they might even have someone inside now.

Be afraid. be very afraid.

23. It's also widely known
That Dennis and Ron have the fewest minutes at each debate. I believe Ron had a total of 2 minutes in the whole debate. The rest was politics and the same hipocracy from the other candidates.

It's becoming so blatantly obvisious. However Ron Paul hit the home run with his last answer. I wish he would of said it was clean money and he didn't have to pay 20% to 30% to raise the money.

Question: You should run as a Independent because this country needs you?

Answer: I won 10 times as a republican and I'm a true republican and I have a chance to win as a republican because we had a crowd of 5,000 in Philly and we raise $4.3 million in one day. A revolution is forming because people are getting sick of the way things are going. And I'm just a part of IT!
