there are countless threads here picking apart each candidate on something they said and did in the past or today. It's getting ridiculous and it's getting us nowhere.
But you'd never know that from the campaign spokespeople who post here ~ it's a rare thing to see a Clinton or Obama supporter ever own up to the dumb moves their candidate has made. I don't believe for a minute that there aren't paid operatives here.
15. well, to be fair, I think supporters of all the candidates do it
Each candidate has made mistakes in the past and are still making them. But to pick apart a candidate's supporters because they 'deny' the mistakes is crazy and I for one and sick of the constant negativity here. We each choose a candidate based on many things, not just one or two.
18. One of things I like about Edwards is his supporters...
They don't seem to have a problem admitting that their candidate has made mistakes ~ I really don't see that with MOST Clinton and Obama supporters. Interestingly, it echoes the way the three campaigns handle mistakes.
Politicians are human beings; human beings are imperfect. We make mistakes.
My friend Rubin used to tell me that smart people learn from others' mistakes; most of us learn from our own; and some folks just never learn. I assume that third group is the republican party membership.
20. No one is perfect. Some are principled: DK, Gravel.

To call sponsoring IWR, voting (proudly) for the PATRIOT Act "mistakes" is to be in bad faith - or really not give a damn about war/peace or civil rights in the first place.
24. The day I find a perfect candidate I will probably drop dead from shock
That doesn't mean I can't give added or lesser weight to their imperfections in evaluating candidates. If I didn't, I would never have a candidate to support.
