WASHINGTON (CNN) — Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee appears to be milking cult hero Chuck Norris' endorsement for all it's worth.

The former Arkansas governor told reporters on a conference call Monday morning that the “Walker Texas Ranger” star will be joining him at the CNN/YouTube debate this Wednesday night.

" will be part of that experience," Huckabee said. "So it will be fun and hopefully very substantive."

Norris officially endorsed Huckabee last October, hailing him as a "respected and fearless leader" and one who's "not afraid to stand up for a Creator and against secularist beliefs."

2. It's funny, because this really won't have much of an impact.

He can try to milk it all he wants, but really, who cares about Chuck Norris? The only people who find him a cult icon are young kids and young adults who probably won't vote at all and have no idea who Huckabee is (hell, they probably think it's the name of some chain restaurant). The people who actually vote won't be swayed by this endorsement. But oh well, let them dream.
