Obama needs to lighten up
I like Obama, want to support him, but every time I hear him speak I think of our last two humorless, intellectual candidates. Obama needs to lighten up. He has the gravitas of an 80 year old.

Personally, I think our strongest ticket would be a Hillary-Obama ticket, which would draw out minorities in huge numbers and marginalize white men to some degree.

3. I find Obama to be a brilliant orator ....
His only fault, IMHO, is when he stoops to degrading his Democratic party opponents in the primary race.

He is quite engaging, and quite funny as well ....

I think it is obvious you simply want to make these claims for personal reasons .....

Furthermore: Why would we want to marginalize 'White Men' ? ..... Dont we really want to move forward with ALL population segments working together for EVERYONE's benefit ?

5. I don't think we should marginalize them ...
... but the fact is they tend to vote Republican and, it's among them, where you'll find the most sexists and racists. It's not so much that they (which includes me) should be marginalized, but that Hillary should go to where the most votes are.

4. Obama doesn't help us
We already have the black vote. We'll get 95% of that demographic regardless of who we put up. Instead, we need Hillary to capture the women's vote and either a white male to split the men's vote or a Hispanic for the latino vote. Obama, either first or second on the ticket, does not help us in either of those groups.

7. Ya got me thinking now, brother...I have a long-haired dachshund
If we put him on the ticket, will we get men and women with long hair plus people with big ears to vote for our side?

8. We obviously have different ways of selecting a candidate.
I could care less about demographics. I want someone in there who reflects my values most, someone who will try to mend all the damage that's been done.

6. the only group that can marginalize white men
is women really.

But the truth is we still have to pull enough white men in to win. I think Hillary at the top of the ticket could do very well, I haven't thought too much about the VP at this point.
