A Thanksgiving message from Hillary
Edited on Tue Nov-20-07 09:51 AM by William769
Dear Friend,

I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I love this holiday, and celebrating together with family and friends.

Thanksgiving is also a time to think of those in need. Every year I am inspired by the outpouring of generosity from all over the country. I hope that this year you'll share in that tradition, whether you volunteer your time or make a donation to help others.

At our campaign offices in California, Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina as well as our headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, we're accepting donations of nonperishable food to help local efforts to fight hunger. If you're not near one of our offices in those states and would still like to give back this Thanksgiving, here are a few national organizations with information about how you can help.

America's Second Harvest
1 800 Volunteer
End Hunger Network
Hunger Free America
This year, I'm so thankful to have you with me working for change. From my family to yours, have a very happy Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/feature/thanksgiving/

2. How dare you post this flame bait?
Are you saying that Obama and Edwards DON'T wish us a Happy Thanksgiving?

I, for one, will only have Tofurkey with Dennis!

24. Yes, she is!!!
I never understood why so many people disparage her looks. Even when I was quite young and she was First Lady, I thought that she was quite beautiful. I don't see what looks have to do with one's politics. For example, I have no problem saying that Laura Bush is attractive. I don't get the kind of hate that doesn't allow some of Hillary's detractors to even admit that she's a good looking woman. It must be sad to be filled with so much rancor. Whatever.......

We need a President that know his/her why around the kitchen. Too bad Chef Ramsey was not born in the US.

Whoever wins the nomination and Presidency will have to deal with a huge hunger problem in the US. So let keep the work of all these great groups going.

38. I'm a Yank working in Far North Queensland, Australia.
After much searching, I was able to buy a turkey this week to celebrate Thanksgiving, my favorite of American holidays. I got robbed having to pay $70.00 for it but I'm having some ex-pats as well as new-found Aussie friends over to celebrate the meaning of this great holiday and will enjoy every penny I spent. No football games but I will have the great food and great company as well as fantastic memories of the country I love.

I thank Senator Clinton for remembering Thanksgiving the way I do.
