Was Drudge's "Kerry in the gun sights" a threat?

1. Nothing will happen to Dem nominee-too much chance of sympathy vote for
Dems.

If it looks like Bush is going to lose - something will happen that will affect the whole nation - such as letting rumors of a "real" terriorist attack near at hand, etc. Could even have a little scare such as "finding" WMD here in US. Not a very good example on my part - but you get the gist.

4. Again I Say...
...We've got to borrow a page from the reagan book. "Beware of the October Surprise".

I have NO problem with borrowing from a successful campaign.

5. Not surprised he signed up for Secret Service protection
a bit early. That pic was spooky and the fact that Crud made it the feature photo meant to me that "permission" had been given to kill Kerry. No other way for him to take it.

This will be the worst election year EVER, with this sort of thing happening so early.

7. Reuters
For those who didn't see, it was a Reuters photo that was on the Drudge site taken through the lens of a TV camera. The crosshairs were in the nose of Kerry which, if you're a cameraman wanting to capture Kerry on film, is where you would aim.

If "Kerry in the gun sights" a threat?" was from Drudge, it was also from Reuters which is where he copied the pic from.
