Problem Looming: Conventions
The Democrats hold their Primary mid-July in Boston. Rove and company make this out to a Liberal Massachusets event. The Media coverage fizzles and the Dems don't get much of a bounce as the nation enters the August news Drolls. * has all month in Crawford and on the campaign trail to get his speech down and Goes to NYC on Labor Day weekend. It's the start of the fall news pickup and the final sprint to the election. With his $75 Million left he outspends The Democratic nominee who spent all his money in the nomination process. Great pictures of W in the heart of NY, revitalizing NYC. Commerative speeches about September 11th, followed by the three year anniversary which Kicks Shrubbie again. Back to back weekends coverage is soleley George W. Bush in full commander in c(t)hief mode.

W carries the short burst of popularity the remaining month and a half on the wave of media fellatio over his 'comeback' and overrriding of the many crisis.

Folks, we're so worried about who our nominee next week is that we aren't even looking ahead and planning for this major PR problem that is about to whack the shit out of us.

November is still a long ways away, and don't underestimate George Bush, he has excelled when the expectations aren't on him and he won't go without one helluva fight. There's too much money at stake

4. haha
I'm not worried about what NYC will do. I am worried about how NYC plays outside of NYC and the free and plentiful press he will get from this

5. I have high hopes
That it will play very badly. That the Repubs will wish they had rented that offshore ship.

Sure we supported Giuliani, but he got the job done. This is still the heart of "raise my taxes and give the money to junkies and illegal immigrants" liberalism. It's Old Skool liberalism. And Bush didn't get the job done.

He's hated here, and I bet we will find a way to make that known during the convention. I could be wrong, but I've got a feeling we'll give him the welcome he deserves.

Free speech-zone this, bitch.

8. The Billionairs for Bush people were a scream.
Hilarious signs. They even got airplay. I can't wait to see what they come up with for the convention. "Buy your own president!" Brilliant.

12. You think the media will even cover that?
and if they do it will only be because there is a riot. That will NOT be positive coverage if it comes to that

9. NYC local firemen and 911 widows and former WTC know what to do
the question is whether or not hordes of middle class bandana wannabes will allow themselves to be used as Republican propaganda - or if they will instead support the local protestors.

The RNC has already hired some agent proveateur bandana-wearers and will have a camera crew following them to record their "antics". I wonder how many volunteers they will get to enhance their efforts?
