Mark Warner's statement on news Jim Gilmore will be opposing him...

ALEXANDRIA -- "Virginians will have an opportunity to make a clear choice between two starkly different records and two dramatically different styles of leadership.

"Do they want to be represented by someone with a record of fiscal irresponsibility and extreme partisanship, or do they want a U.S. Senator with a proven record of bringing people together to get results and create real change?

"We look forward to making the case for Mark Warner's brand of commonsense, results-oriented leadership. We welcome Jim Gilmore to the campaign and we look forward to a spirited discussion."

Gilmore ran the state into a very deep ditch that Mark Warner pulled us out of...why he thinks voters would want to return him to office is beyond me...

3. Warner will take Northern Virginia, hands down.
He'll take the southwest part too, 'cause they will all think he's "the other Warner guy"

4. Gilmore will get crushed in the Northern VA suburbs
He'll also lose much of Hampton Roads.

Gilmore sucks. Warner has got this thing locked up.
