5. Even though she slipped up in the debates with her cue cards, why should I trust her?
Edited on Sun Nov-18-07 07:35 PM by HypnoToad
I do like what she said in the past on foreign policy, but if I can't believe what she's said in other areas, why should I believe her on foreign policy either?

I could hover the mouse over the number and get a token talking point, but did not see any details. I'm willing to do my part, but it's rather helpful to know what I'd be doing. And the same goes for any candidate of either party.

6. In all fairness, I think the same list represents each and every one of
our candidates. Goes to show that we all have the same goals for our country and our future.

7. Other politicians like to say what people want to hear. There's a difference.
Just because her hubby did some things right doesn't mean she will. It's a lovely thought, but may not be reality.

11. Well, if nothing else, it would POLITICALLY behoove him/her to pursue those
goals in the WH, so I'm hopeful in the end we'll be the beneficiaries.

13. LOL. Ok: #2 If she's elected a lot of bigots will be so mad they drop dead.
Edited on Sun Nov-18-07 07:55 PM by Democrats_win
I don't think this post was THAT misleading since many DU posts seem to do the same thing: promise something and then deliver a website.

on edit: No one should take this to mean ANYONE on DU. Just Republicans.

Please forgive the unintended consequence in wanting you to see the website with its nifty interactive list, rather than just copying it here. -mb

15. Spelled out, the 10 reasons from her website sound good!
To end the war in Iraq

To achieve universal, affordable healtcare

To create good jobs for middle class Americans with the right investments in modern infrastructure and in new clean, energy-efficient technologies that reduce our dependence on foreign oil and combat global warming.

To provide world-class education from universal pre-kindergarten to affordable college for all.

To promote 21st century scientific innovation, including stem cell researc.

To return to fiscal responsibility, move back toward a balanced budget and safeguard Social Security and Medicare for future generations.

To restore competence and end cronyism in government, with a president who cares about and works for Americans who have been invisible to this administration.

To combat terrorism, strengthen our military, and care for our veterans.

To restore America's standing in the world, and repair our alliances.

To build a more tolerant, united America, working to achieve big goals again, with a president who's ready for change and ready to lead from day one.

17. More like 10 reasons to vote for any Democrat running for president.
She's not unique in wanting to do those things.

19. Do you really thing so?
She seems much more thoughtful in many of her points. Perhaps I should do a compare and contrast.

My main point was not just why vote for Hillary, but when in doubt do go to her web site. -mb

20. I do think so.
And I think most other candidates have made more detailed plans than she about those things.
