From the Hillary hub:

How far is the money being spread? The Obama campaign spent $27 at the Arkansas state archives and $9.30 at the Clinton library, digging for damaging facts on Clinton. Asked what Team Obama found, spokeswoman Jen Psaki conceded, "Not much."

The Hub doesn't link to the original source for the above claim, but I have to wonder.

What are "damaging facts"? I would expect a candidate to check out an opponents public record, things like what proposals were made, how someone voted on a given issue. Did Senator CLinton say something as first lady of Arkansas she doesn't want us to remember? After all, neither the Archives nor the Library would have details of an illicit deal.

$36.30? Either the people from the Obama camp got really lucky and found what they wanted right away or else they weren't very interested in this.

On edit - my mistake - I missed the link back to the New York Daily News. ANd it was the Fact Hub on Senator CLinton's site, not the Hillary Hub.

7. I heard Obama wore a trench coat, fake glasses and a nose with
a mustache and showed his Ranger Rick Secret Agent badge to get access to damaging Clinton records at the Clinton Library. Luckily the security camera was focused on Sandy Berger instead.

4. Ahh now I get the true meaning of The Audacity of Hope
They HOPE to 'dig for trash', since Obama obviously can't run on his own thin merits.

Gotcha

9. It's called "Opposition research" and is an essential component of any
serious campaign. Senator Clinton want's us to be upset that the Obama people were checking the public record?

6. LOL
They checked it out right down to the penny, hmm? Of course all the candidates check up on each other and look for information they can use. It's SOP.

"Waaaa... he's checking up on me!" sounds incredibly like, "Mommmmmm... he touched me!"

Pretty laughable. :D

8. Yes, dear. It's SOP.
I thought Obama wasn't running an SOP campaign?

Besides, the trick is to do it without being caught doing it. Green, green, green.

13. It's A Nothing Story-Trivial
This story is more interesting:

“…And at a campaign event in Iowa, one of Obama’s aides plopped down next to me and spoke even more bluntly. He wanted to know when reporters would begin to look into Bill Clinton’s postpresidential sex life,” Ambinder writes.

15. I noticed that, too. Clearly the Clinton camp has decided to eliminate
competitors by spreading innuendo instead of campaigning on different proposals and goals. I wonder what the Clinton campaign will come up with on the rest of the pack?
