Rosemary Palmer: The Contradictions of the Kucinich Plan
This is from the Democrat who is challenging Kucinich in the primary:

You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time. But, is a Congressman's purposefully hiding his real policy position any way to treat voters?

Reading Dennis Kucinich's excuses for voting this week against the latest Iraq funding bill should make us all spitting angry.

She closes with:

I want the Iraq situation ended as much as anyone does, Dennis. When will you stand up face to face with me in a debate and explain these contradictions?

1. Anyone from Cleveland here? Are they running those ads on her web site on TV?
Those are pretty devastating. I imagine they're not running them, though, as they're pretty long.

What is this woman like as a challenger? Does she have any backing or cash?

I didn't even realize he had a primary opponent.

3. he doesn't need to explain them
because he's not running a serious campaign. he knows he can't win (and with this incoherent policy, he shouldn"t, sorry, but UN Peacekeepers? is he joking? we are going to pull our troops out so that other countries can put theirs in harm's way? what idiotic country is going to agree to this?) this thing looks like it was written by a MUN delegate in middle school, it's ridiculous.

4. I see no contradiction, merely ELABORATION.
He lays down some broad strokes, then fleshes them out a bit. I suppose that since it's been so rarely done in the past six years, the media is confused by this. Kid of refreshing, actually.

I will admit, it is not worded as cleverly as another HRC vacillation, but it's really not that difficult to figure out what he means, Rosie...

6. It is actually quite a poorly written piece
I don't think Kucinich will have much difficulty defending his seat against this challenger.

8. Seems almost like she is trying to create a nonexistent controversy.

7. "US out, UN in"
That's been his mantra for years on this.

He's not hiding anything....and if the US had followed that advice back then, it would have been much more likely to have succeeded.

9. I'm like, you know, not that into Rosemary Palmer's schtick.
I hope Kucinich builds on his winning percentage last time.

10. I hope she clobbers the clown in the primary.
I rather have a Dem in Congress who'll get meaningful things done than a joke who merely postures for the camera and only panders to the extremists.

Does anyone have any poll numbers for them?
