Bonds indicted, Krongard off the hook....

Most people have never heard of Howard Krongard or his brother Buzzy....yep, Buzzy. In case you're out of the loop, Howard is the US State Department Inspector General....who's been blocking Blackwater probes by federal prosecutors, and just by sheer coincidence, his brother Buzzy sits on the Advisory Board at Blackwater. Fun?

Bottom line... This week, Krongard LIED to the House Committee looking in to this, under oath, this week. He lied about knowing about his brother's involvement in Blackwater....and his lousy brother gave ,him up. Such an open and shut case of perjury that didn't make the mainstream media at all. Barry Bonds faces 15 years in prison if found guilty of perjury and obstructing justice. Howard Krongard probably is having lunch with Scooter Libby. Sigh. It's all so American, isn't it...

2. Neither case is related: Two criminals-jail as many as you can! BONDS is a criminal too...

This jackassery epidemic we have on DU and elsewhere that follows along the lines of, "Well so and so is guilty but got off so 'my' person should go free too!" has got to STOP! The myriad idiots amongst us fail to realize that this is the same bullshit flummery which when used by the present criminals in power goes like this,"Clinton did it too! So leave us alone!"

Shameful that the morons amongst us must forever be reminded that 'two wrongs don't make a right!' They cannot see that laws enforced partially are not the same as laws applied improperly. Pragmatically you get the ones you can get, then wait for the next chance.

Yes, it is wrong, no it is probably criminal if you could get the proof, that such as Krongard might walk, but that in no way changes the guilt or innocence of Barry Bonds...or OJ Simpson or any other minority charged with a criminal act.
