"I agree with Joe".....Yeah man...
For future moderators, hopefully some read DU, here's a suggestion. It would seem we hear the phrase "I agree with Joe" many times from other candidates during these debates. Do ya think maybe more time should be allotted to the guy they're all agreeing with???? The other night Senator Biden literally educated the rest of the panel on enforcing an already established law, etc. It is most definitely time to drift away from Clinton, Obama and Edwards. They've stated their views, for the most part we know their views. If many are agreeing with Joe, then please, please, let us hear much much more from Joe.

Senator Biden is most definitely the grown-up, the most experienced, knowledgeable and likable of any of them. He does not take funds from big corp or big pharma. He knows how to tell to people to "shove it up......." and make them feel good about themselves. I have a gut feeling Joe is going to come out a top contender in Iowa and start to weed out that "top tier." As a "Bidenite" it is not necessary for me to slam or bash another candidate. We're above that. I've heard more than once that many can't wait for questions to be directed to the Senator because he's fun and smart. He talks like us and you don't have to cut through crapola. So dear future moderators, please make note and let us hear from the "second tier"...Wolfie was asked to do this, he ignored it at his own peril.. The sad state of our nation and possible cures??? On this I agree with Joe, yeah man....

2. but, Joe might make it work!
Bill Clinton 'made it work' but lookit what mr pig did. Maybe it's time to admit the entire idea (creation) was goofy- when liars rule lies are the ONLY rule, and you cannae run a pop stand using dishonesty (unless you're a fly-by-night operator) because otherwise your money's no good. Life is not gonna survive the collapse of civilization; the enviro impact of runaway civil strife while the systems spews oil and grease and corpses and toxic nuklear meltdowns and distrust (distrust was the gop's ONLY trump card, and they're stuck with it)
eat drink and be merry, cuz Joe aint gonna save it (we hope)

cool on him and i have steadily warmed up to him.

6. Most of Biden's supporters came to him in much the same manner.
I always liked him, but for some reason I wasn't seriously considering him at first. Then I decided to be a little more objective and give him a second look, and the more I saw of him and the more I learn about him the more I began thinking, this is the guy. At this point I'm convinced that he'd be the strongest Democrat in the general election by far and would most likely make a damn good president, at a time when we really, really need a hard working pragmatist to stem the hemorrhaging our country now suffers from.

7. i have no dog in the race yet -- but i am impressed with
his knowledge of how things work.

i wouldn't mind seeing him toe to toe with a republick party candidate just to see what that experience would uncover.

too bad we always have to wait for actual elections for that to happen.

11. I wasn't either
I knew I liked him and his straight forward style, but didn't think he'd be a viable candidate. As I searched the Internet, I looked for any references to his candidacy and was dismayed they were few and far between. Then one day something clicked and I decided to speak up for him wherever I could. That wasn't really all that long ago and since then, I've seen interest in him snowball.

9. JOE BIDEN the best AMERICA has
In these troubled and dire time we live in, Joe Biden, to me, encompasses all that we desperately need for our nation:

1) Intelligence
2) Experience in ALL phases of government
3) Strength
4) Respect from world leaders
5) Diplomacy
6) Command of issues
7) Solutions to problems that face our nation
8) Honesty
9) Integrity
10) Respect and trust from his peers
11) Respect and trust from the people who follow him
12) an EXPERT in foreign policy

Joe Biden certainly meets ALL of the criteria above.

I pray and hope every day that Mr. & Mrs. America, the people of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina know in their hearts, that if we lose Joe Biden, we'll have lost one of the best Presidents our nation will ever have.

14. Unfortunately, Lieberman has ruined the name Joe forever
How about "I agree with Biden"

or "I'm sidin' with Biden". I kind of like that one.

16. What I don't get is why Hillary supporters aren't for Biden
Joe is a bit too corporate for me, but for anyone who can stomach Hillary's politics, Biden seems like a natural choice. Like Hillary because she'd be a strong campaigner? Biden would be even stronger. Impressed with her experience? It's nothing compared to Biden's. Want to nominate a "grown-up" (whatever that means)? Biden is the consummate mature, pragmatic politician.

Most importantly, Biden takes absolutely zero crap from the right and hits back twice as hard. If you're looking for a polished, pragmatic, center-right candidate, why would you pick anyone else?
