Bill Moyers as debate moderator
On one of the threads about how asinine Wolf Blitzer was as a moderator last night, someone made the wistful suggestion that Bill Moyers should be the one to moderate a debate. This seemed like a very good idea, so I went to his website and sent him an email to that effect.

If anyone else would like to do so, here is the feedback page at Bill Moyers' Journal:

2. now wouldn't that be wonderful... but
we know this is not possible. It's all been already decided - CNN votes for Senator Clinton, close the booths.

3. Maybe a letter to the DNC would be better, since they pick
the venue and, I'm guessing, authorize the moderator(s). But Moyers would be outstanding, far superior to the dog and pony show we saw last night.

4. I'd rather see him moderate a Republican debate
I won't hold my breath, though.

5. How about a series, Bill Moyers one on one with each candidate.
The current format allows the press to set the agenda. What matters is finding out what the candidate's agenda is.

6. Wonderful idea!
Gotta love the way DUers think. Done and done.

7. The MSM letting Moyers moderate
Do I think it would happen? Probably not. That's why he'd have to do it on PBS. Or on the Internet. Either way would be beneficial, because it would be accessible to far more people (in more ways than one!).
