to explore in last night's debate? ( I didn't see much of the beginning of the debate, only during the ads on Survivor. yes I'd rather watch Survivor.)

and yes I realize Blitzer would keep everyone away from the crashing economy.

so that was a disappointment.

and I rather like an interactive audience. why not?

Malvaux (sp.) was her usual crappy self.

1. All debates should be on CSpan
with the League of Women Voters moderating.

6. They should be on the major networks, with the League moderatiing. Both the Dems
and the Repos dumped the league, because they were too fair to minority candidates.

3. That's the point Dodd was trying to make last night
Democrats wil lose out if they continue their personal attacks against one another, as opposed to attacking the real culprit, Bush.

4. No right wing moderator will allow the topic to stay on the economy
for long, and Wolf Blister is no exception. I noticed he started talking over anyone who mentioned it after about 15 seconds or so.

That should give all the candidates a major clue: IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!

Economic populism is the only thing that will win this one.

5. Amen! What is wrong with these people?!

They want to play word games, nit pick, try to provoke the candidates into attacking each other, ask ridiculous questions... anything but the important pressing issues like the collapse of the economy & the free trade problem. Sometimes I feel like I'm watching the Miss America pagent or American Idol rather than a political debate -- seeing who interviews the best, who doesn't stumble over words, who dressed the best, who looks good, who has the best personality, etc etc etc. It's ridiculous!

(edited for typo)

7. Did you not know everything is fine, therefore we exchange
Corporate Republicans for Corporate Democrats. No change needed.
