Biden extolls residents to caucus
HARLAN -- Many of the attendees at the U.S. Sen. Joe Biden (D-Delaware) speech last week at the Shelby County Historical Society went from impartial on their candidate of choice to possibly finding their candidate during Biden's 90-minute visit in front of more than 40 Shelby Countians.

Donna Clothier, chair of the Shelby County Democratic Party, said "Biden formulated his thoughts and topics in a skilled and sincere visit to us. It wasn't a speech, he was speaking to us as Iowans, and I think that really impacted a lot of those in attendance - they were surprised at his candor, sincerity and belief system."

Biden is connecting with people in Iowa, something that doesn't show up on the MSM.

1. Candor! That's a word that's been escaping me when I try to explain part of

the reason I've become a Biden supporter.

He DOES speak with candor -- ask him a question, and he'll give you the truth - he's not hiding anything.

It seems as though I look for his statement on most issues - I know I'll get an accurate representation of the situation, and what can, and can NOT, be done to rectify it.

Do you think we need that honesty and forthrightness in our President now? I sure as hell do.

Edited to fix embarrassing spelling goofs.

with. I fully expect him to sometime say..."Well, there's good news and there's bad news, which do you want to hear first???" This is how his candor comes out and I really admire it. There's no cover up or dressing up the subject, you will get from him as he interprets it. What's not to love???
