Hillary invoke's Ronald Reagan just like a Republican on Social Security Issue.
and called for a blue ribbon panel since she didn't have an answer of her own...

6. She didn't have to mention Reagan at all now did she?
and she ought to be able to articulate a clear plan of her own not pawn it off on some non-existent, fictional, future blue ribbon committee.

"The Buck Stops at the Blue Ribbon Committee" for Hillary apparently..

8. Yeah, she did if you were paying attention to her point
Which was "getting *everyone* together on the social security issue".

9. Two Facts Remain, Sir
The Bills that emerged from that commission in the eighties were sound measures that benefited the Social Security system.

Any changes in the Social Security system's mechanics with an eye towards extending its sound fiscal condition will require broad support on both sides of the aisle if they are to be accepted by the people.

5. A Democrat can mention the name of Ronald Reagan
as long as he/she says something like "Ronald Reagan was a nasty, senile old assbag." That would be fine.

11. Uh... Barack Obama...
This Week with George Stephanopolous
May 17, 2007

OBAMA: Everything should be on the table. I think we should approach it the same way Tip O'Neill and Ronald Reagan did back in 1983. They came together. I don't want to lay out my preferences beforehand, but what I know is that Social Security is solvable. It is not as difficult a problem as we're going to have with Medicaid and Medicare.

Next strawman please!!!
