16. He must be a pretty powerful senator to make such a
statement since it's the House that impeaches.

12. Sorry, Joe, but Bush should've been impeached a long time ago
but you and none of the other candidates would lend any support to Kucinich's REAL efforts to do so.

15. Biden is of the school of thought that impeachment isn't the best action to take
right now. (I'm NOT defending him, and I disagree, so you don't need to convince me otherwise.) So that's why he's not supporting impeachment efforts at this time.

It's an amazing statement nonetheless - to come out and say it during a national debate is impressive.

18. I suppose it is at least a great thing he did mention the "I" word
The more we hear our people talking about it, the more it just might occur, not that we've heard very much chatter on it or anything. Anyway, beggars can't be choosey, so I'm happy he brought it up.

21. It seems to me that it's been slowly gaining more attention "out there" - I hope
I'm right. The fact that they're going to move forward on to the next step in the House is encouraging.

I've been meaning to say this but keep forgetting: After Dennis presented it to the house he was being interviewed afterward and the interviewer said something like "they called your bluff". And Dennis said -- "they didn't call my bluff. I had a xxxx page document with me citing all the laws....."

Something along those lines, and I remember thinking, you're too smart to get 'caught' Dennis. I really like and admire him a lot!

14. How about "right now," Joe?! Forget about the "ifs."
There's already more than sufficient reason to impeach both Bush and Cheney. You don't need to wait for one more "precipitating" event. If you mean what you say, then impeach those evil fuckers NOW! There's no reason to wait. If you don't act now, there's only one reason: you're a fucking bullshitter! Do it or Shut The Fuck Up!

17. He's come out and said he's NOT for impeachment
at this time and given his reasons. I don't agree, but he's stated his position.

That does NOT preclude him from pursuing it if Bush tries to take us into Iran. Other than Kucinich (with whom I DO agree on this issue), none of the other candidates has even whispered the word.

So if he doesn't act now he's not a "fucking bullshitter" - because he's stated where he currently stands, and what he would do if Bush were to try to go into Iran.

Contrary to being a "fucking bullshitter" he's actually telling the truth about his positions.

22. Yes, he is a fucking bullshitter
if he is only talking for political reasons as I expect is the case. As I have previously stated, there are already sufficient grounds for impeachment. The last thing we need is yet another elected official saying "Misbehave one more time and you'll get spanked." I say BULLSHIT! "One more time" has come and gone. At this point, anybody who speaks but does not ACT is a BULLSHITTER! And that includes Biden!

Go, Dennis!

29. Good, but it's kind of moot at this point..
Biden should watch "Cheney's Law" and start impeaching NOW!

I watched it the other night and can't believe these bastard criminals haven't been impeached, convicted and imprisoned yet. It's the clearest case of "high crimes" I've ever seen.

30. I think every member of the House and Senate should be made to
watch Cheney's Law. Even if they're aware (as I assume they are) of all that has happened, seeing it presented in its entirety like that hits you over the head.

Biden has his reasons why he's not in favor of pursing it now, but who knows - he may change his mind as it seems those jerks are committing new crimes against the people daily. Purely conjecture on my part, but I'd like to believe there's hope.

outside and say, "Will you please (double please) impeach this joker". All ATM and no credit card.

33. He might be anticipating that impeachment will make its way to a vote...

in the Senate, in which case he may be indicating that he has enough bipartisan support to pull it off, in the event that war is started in Iran. This sounds very encouraging!
