3. Big time.
And even though I'm highly, highly skeptical of any UFO "believers", it astounds me that Republicans (and Democrats) that reveal their ignorance of science are praised simply because they're people of faith.

It's really appalling to me.

9. The state of affairs is usually scary nowadays.
But the fact that people use religion as an excuse for their ignorance is probably my #1 source of head shaking...

13. They are so "respectful" of fundamentalist beliefs.
They don't dare offend. Or else they're so stupid they think there may be "something to" creationism.

15. Science is scary for a certain segment of the population, i guess it's easy on their
brains to just think God did it.

10. Did Reagan believe in Evolution
If not he's a 2fer as he saw UFOs and wanted Star Wars to protect America from aliens.

16. People who've seen UFO's - Reagan, Carter, Buzz Aldrin, Gordon Cooper, John Lennon, and many pilots
THe UFO thing is a diversion from letting Kuccinich speak about things like Universal Health Care, NAFTA and Iraq. People like Wolf Blitzer know Kuccinich's message resonates with most, and it is easier to attmept to discredit him by making him out as a wacko, than to address his stances on polciy issues and to debate him about those things.

17. Good point.
Same way that lying about a blow job is impeachable, but the total of everything BushCo have done is not.

They still own the framing, and we're still answering to them instead of breaking the framing.

Democrats might not be good enough at context shifting to win at it. Then again, if you do it, you become them.

22. Really. Both groups should be ridiculed.
If someone thinks aliens are flying around and "communicating" with them OR if someone doesn't believe in evolution, then they are equally ignorant and should be made fun of at every opportunity.

* note: seeing a UFO is vastly different from believing they are alien spacecrafts *
