Lou Dobbs equates Centrists with the Middle Class!

I was watching Lou Dobbs right before the debate started and he made a comment about whether it was healthy to be attacking centrists who, he seemed to indicate, represented the Middle Class and his pet project: the increasing effect of Independents. Could he be more wrong about this?

It seems to me that Centrists in Washington are dominated by the war-mongering, hawkish interests of the neocons. What has been bringing the nation together, with respect to attitudes against the war, is the increasing opinion that we should be pulling out of Iraq and not beating the war drums for Iran. As Sen. Biden so clearly pointed out during the debate, this is truly a bipartisan objective and the only reason current Republicans in Congress are not supporting this is because they are afraid to go against the Bush Administration. Once a new Administration is in place there's no reason that things shouldn't turn around 180 degrees.

Unfortunately, the current frontrunners in both parties are the type of Centrists who are most likely to continue supporting American domination and aggression, even if it goes against the wishes of the majority of the American public. The sooner that people like Dobbs and other media figureheads figure this out, the better off we will all be. Like Biden said, don't buy into this meme.
