25. Yup, in addition, Kucinich and Dodd did do well, too
I agree with you about that, and of course with the OP that Clinton won and Edwards lost. Obama stumbled a couple times badly, especially on the licenses for illegal immigrants. He's the one of the ones who gave Hillary so much grief for stumbling on it last time, yet his stumbling on the same issue tonight was even worse. OTOH, I thought Obama was good when he was talking about unity, diplomacy, and going after Bush. I don't think we'd have to worry if either him or Clinton win the nod. Both are pretty powerful.

Consensus was that Edwards was having an off night and that Hillary was bobbing and weaving too much.

Elon University poll of 5 southern states....North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida

On the Democratic ticket, Hillary Clinton has a huge lead over Barack Obama, and John Edwards is in a distant third. Clinton has 45 percent of the vote compared to Obama with 17 percent and Edwards with just 11 percent in his home state.

New poll shows Clinton leads in the South
By ROB CHRISTENSEN
Raleigh News & Observer
John Edwards, a former senator from North Carolina, often portrays himself as the Democratic presidential candidate who has the best chance of winning some red states, particularly in the South.

But a new poll of voters in five Southern states shows New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton ahead by a decisive margin.

Clinton leads in the region with 45 percent, compared to 17 percent for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama and 11 percent for Edwards, according to an Elon University Poll released Thursday.

The survey questioned 1,374 residents in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia on Nov. 4-8 and 12-14. The poll by the Elon University Institute for Politics and Public Policy had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.7 percent.

And I gotta say I thought Hillary was obnoxious. Funny if she ultimately takes the same knock Edwards did last debate for being that kind of aggressive.

Runners up, Biden, Dodd.

Losers, Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Richardson.

The only questions HRC did OK on were those lobbed to her by Blitzen, designed to allow her to re-address her gaffes from the previous debate with memorized talking points. Check her responses like "asbestos pantsuit," "pearls or diamonds" and "boys' club" and CRINGE, America!!! How brainwashed can Dems get? She got a do-over, knew the questions, had responses OBVIOUSLY memorized and STILL managed to lose. Only an obviously partisan MSM could say she won ANYTHING last night.

Next debate, we'll all be looking for the "hump."

67. the losers not the winners
honestly i can't believe anyone thinks that any of these people are winners. they all lost; lost their cool, lost my respect, lost their souls for selling out the american people by putting the blame on everyone but themselves to support a government that no longer serves it's people and is killing the world. no one wants to talk about mike gravel because the current government and the media don't want you to know that you/we the people can win. watch some of the videos on the internet of gravel and if you still want to vote for someone else then at least also vote for the national initiative so that this winning you're talking about can stop making everyone else loose.
