5. With ridicule and laughter
If they are really serious and all wigged out about a fraternity, you might offer them the names of a few good therapists.

6. I don't care what club he was a member of
As long as he supports the RIGHT of gays to marry he will get my vote.

Otherwise I stay home.

10. He says publically that he doesn't
His record proves otherwise. He does support it but the sad reality is that many of the southern dems and indpendents would find fault with it if he said he did today.

7. Gifford Pinchot was Skull And Bones
He was the architect of the National Park System under Teddy R.

And if you ever want a better example of an eco-warrior hell bent on chasing corporations out of forests, here's your man. When logging companies would set up a shed, he'd go in in the middle of the night and blow them up.

Now you can't tell me this guy was posing as an eco-warrior at a time when there was no such thing as an eco-warrior as a foil...

Sure, S&B lies around in coffins and talks world domination. So did I in college. I also played RISK. Does that make me a boogeyman.

They do recruit for the CIA out of S&B - this is a known. They also recruit for the CIA out of the Marine Corps. Does that make them an evil organization?

9. Well, start by admitting that he WAS and IS a member
As to whether that means anything or not, I don't really know and I'm not sure I take those particular criticisms all that seriously.

11. This really is a problem.
He was a member of Skull and Bones. It's NOT like a typical fraternity, and its secrecy goes far beyond normal fraternity secrets.

A reporter named Alexandra Robbins has recently published a book about the society. And here's just one link to some stuff about it: http://www.freedomdomain.com/skullbones.html

One down side of Kerry as nominee is that it becomes nearly impossible to hold Bush's Skull and Bones membership against him. Indeed, Kerry, as member himself of S&B, has ties and loyalty to Bush that are actually quite disturbing. However, that's not the beginning and ending of Kerry as person and nominee, and is probably best dealt with by ignoring.

On the other hand, if Edwards becomes the nominee, Bush's Skull and Bones membership is fair game.

15. I don't know of anybody
for whom Bush's membership in Skull & Bones is an election issue. There are so many real issues to use against Bush, why try to use one that will make most people go cross eyed, or dismiss you as a conspiracy theorist.

I just honestly think it's an issue that voters couldn't care less about. People are worried about jobs, the economy, health care, wars, and a president that constantly lies, and is systematically transferring all of this country's wealth into the hands of his corporate cronies. S&B is simply a non-issue

Edwards wouldn't use it as an election issue either because it just makes our side look ridiculous.

14. Sing the insidous S&B song

Who controls the British crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
We do! We do!
Who leaves Atlantis off the maps?
Who keeps the martians under wraps?
We do! We do!
Who holds back the electric car?
Who makes Steve Guttenberg a star?
We do! We do!
Who robs the cave fish of their sight?
Who rigs every Oscars night?
We do! We do!
