Understanding the Michael Savage freak circus
Michael Savage is a way over the top wing nut. An evil spirit with no sense of shame. Either that or off the graph on the insanity scale. Maybe both.

Here's a typical Savage broadcast.

Beginning: Spends about eight to ten minutes of air time describing some sweet element of life. Maybe a walk through the park, ducks on a lake or an elderly couple going dancing. Some set of circumstance(s) that no one could disapprove of. Listen for this! Almost every broadcast will include this lead in.

His purpose is to sucker the average listener into thinking Michael Savage is a really nice guy. How could a nice guy lie to you? How could anyone disagree with someone who speaks well of an elderly pair of seniors going dancing?

The writers for his show know what they're doing.

Middle: This is where the circus freak show starts. He'll single out one segment of the populace that is a direct threat to the robber baron corporate power structure and demonize them. This will usually include a gradual build up of animosity towards a harmless group. This will crescendo into an all out hate tirade against some group of people like the ACLU, attorneys, or the Sierra Club. All depends upon which group is giving the corporate parasites the most grief on any given day.

He and his audience are particularly threatened by Hollywood. It's no mistake that he will single out absolutely harmless people like Susan Sarandon or George Clooney. Bashing them serves two purposes:

1. Gives his listeners a fictitious enemy. Enemies always important to a fascist/corporate power state.

2. Michael Savage's audience is generally a cast of losers who hate the beautiful people. These listeners are those scared goons and fat slobs who sat in the back of your eighth grade class and picked on girls and kids smaller than them.

People like this HATE famous actors and actresses.

So by bashing the beautiful people who are trying to support some positive cause at odds with the land/earth rapist war mongering turds of the world he can get a unified source of idiots to react in both fear and praise.

They will fear the "Stinking Hollywood Stalinists".

And write their congressperson to promote a piece of legislation that works against their own cause.

It's how we get stupid, unemployed, alcoholic cardiac patients who live out on the streets to vote against their own best interests.

Most all governments need enemies.

I usually won't listen to Michael Savage close a program. He's a sickening despicable piece of human garbage.

Worse, far worse even than the fictitious insults he attributes to those "enemies" he slanders.

4. he's a wee bit inconsistent
he's pissed that the war was botched so badly, but he hates anyone who criticizes it!

he's worried about gays taking over the country?!?!?! not worried about corporate goons turning the place into Mexico-North.

I don't think he's a corporate tool like most on the radio. I think he's a genuine guy with alot of misplaced anger.

5. It might be pointless, certainly disappointing, but I often try to
figure out just what experience or series of experiences it was that shattered this man's earlier life, stunting the growth of an empathy gland.(A virtual one, of course.)

When some mechanism fails to allow full development of some aspect of a human it also affects the development of the checking circuit for that personality function. The unfortunate victim of this twisted development can't even notice that something's going wrong.

7. Now that's strange!
Give an idiot a microphone and an audience and you never know where they'll run with it.

I hear that the ego can suck up into itself and create a separate world. Shuts out all common sense and feeds itself a set of ideas that only it wants to hear.

I suspect that Crystal Meth could be a problem for Mr. Savage. Expect something like this to surface in the tabloids one of these days...

8. Freud was right, in a lot of ways, and most hate arises from fear.
The thing that provokes people to do and say really stupid, hateful things generally swims in that dark whirlpool of repression.

It's the experience that people choose not to experience, or choose to defer, that eats them alive. Usually the really intense, soul-crushing repressions are closely connected to sex.

We are such complicated critters.

12. You are baad!
:spank:
I suppose that means there may be some light at the end of the tunnel, after all. Heehee!

What it really means is that jasper and his twisted priorities present such a stark picture of stupidity that he makes a good argument for late term abortion.
