Edited on Tue Nov-13-07 10:13 AM by seasonedblue
is the media won't air any rebuttals without twisting and spinning them. I've just about had it with MSNBC, where Russert and Matthews begin with a false premise, and everyone but KO continues to spread it.

I'm glad I'm not her campaign manager, because I wouldn't know how the hell to advise her.

21. Obama has attacked Edwards repeatedly
Obama has said that Edwards switched from being a moderate up until 2005, to being a populist in 2007.

He also criticized Edwards for co-sponsoring the resolution authorizing military action against Iraq.

I guess both of these comments would fit the definition of "attack" used by Hillary's supporters.

23. Edwards has also attacked Obama
Edwards has said that of the top 3 candidates in the field, he is the only one who can campaign in red states.

This implies that Obama is not able to reach voters in red states. Maybe because he's black? :eyes:

16. And what makes one more accurate then another.
One takes a poll from people that are actively reading political news, the other calls people in a certain zip code at random. Now the people online could vote twice and the zip code could be in a predominately ethnic or poor neighborhood. So which one is fair and accurate.

IT's odd that the non mainstream media polls always point away from Clinton.

and focuses almost exclusively on polls, everything the MSM says about it is also meaningless.

You can take that to the bank.

19. President Dean remembers polls like this
Oh wait...national polls...

December 10, 2003 Among Democratic voters, Dean leads with 22 percent, followed by Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman with 13 percent and former Gen. Wesley Clark with 12 percent. Clark led the pack with 17 percent in an October 29 poll by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University, when Dean had 13 percent.

22. Polls are every where.
CLOUT! Straw Poll
By Richard Greene on October 31, 2007 - 1:44pm

While the 8 Democratic candidates were debating last night we decided to take a straw poll. Even though CLOUT! is now live in NY City on WWRL 1600AM, the state's junior Senator, the leading candidate, did not fare well.

Not at all.

For 2 hours, from 8 - 10 pm Eastern, we took votes by phone and email. Here are the results:

KUCINICH: 40%
EDWARDS 33%
OBAMA 10%
CLINTON 6%
RICHARDSON 3%
(AL GORE) 3% (Not officially in poll. Many wanted him but we took their 2nd choice, if given)
(RON PAUL) 3% (Not officially in poll)
DODD 1%
BIDEN: 0%
GRAVEL: 0%

you've selectively chosen 2 polls showing LEFTY Dennis Kucinich with the highest percentage of support.

When the OP's poll is an acceptable balanced designate for the average moderate voters and one we've been using since the beginning of the race.

31. 1 poll showed Clinton in a dead heat with all the repubs.
The problem with that is the way that elections can be manipulated she would get Gored more easily.

The other candidates poll much more favorably then she does, in order to get more of the cross over votes.

With the MSM polls the only ones getting news coverage, it will come as no surprise when the front runner they choose wins by their projected percentage. Don't think for a moment they would hesitate to Gore the primaries just like the general election.

27. Wow, it seems she is virtually untouchable at this point. Unless she lets out a big cackle
in Iowa that the media can blow up ten times in volume to bring her down, it almost looks like the Goddess of Peace might have this all wrapped up, although Obama is pretty hot, too. Don't count out Kucinich yet, though, who might shock everyone before this is over. Dennis is the most underappreciated Democratic candidate ever, but more and more people are catching on to his sincerity. Maybe Hillary or Obama would consider him for their VP choice?

28. Ol' Pops, GHWB, is working hard at having Hillary's lead chiseled away.
What her distaste for her is, i don't know.
Perhaps that she is a Clinton, and that even while some think of her in a negative way, she has more approval and following that any of the Bush clan.
Perhaps just the fact that she is a woman. He has promised to give her hell, just like he promised to kick Geraldine Ferraro's *ss when she ran for VP with Mondale.

Maybe he doesn't like women and would feel the same way about any woman on the front spot in the run for the white house... he certainly would abhor anyone who has greater approval and support than any of those dawgonned bushes who push themselves into every spot, even if they have to steal it.
