1. Hill did answer that question. I can't provide a link or state when I
heard her say it, but I recall her saying she would support whoever the Dem. nominee was. In fact EVERY Dem. candidate said that same thing!

7. Not everyone. Edwards has refused. (hence the hysterical OP)
:dem:
I'll say I'll vote for our nominee. That makes me a better Democrat than John Edwards.

24. but not necessarily a better American than JE.

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those
who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners) at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.

3. If she's not the nominee
maybe she can keep her mouth shut this time. The last thing we need is another join the republicans in criticism of our candidate during a general election. I still don't forgive her what she did to Kerry. I doubt Edwards forgives her either.

28. And she answered by saying what he said was "inappropriate"
instead of saying "no comment" or "move on." She played along with the smear that he insulted the troops when she knew very well what he meant. He was joking about Bush. He has been a champion of veterans and military families in Congress more than most.

19. your problem with Edwards is truly ridiculous
and now you've got this 'go all John Edwards on..."

the guy is a fighter, and he sees a hypocrite and a double-talker running against him, and leading, and destined in his and many others' view to tear the party and the country down, and he properly says so...

why is 'progressive' part of your username? do you know what the term means?

23. Your problem is that because you
consider Clinton a hypocrite and a double-talker, you have no problem with Edwards tactics. Those of us who consider Edwards the biggest hypocrite and double-talker in this race, take issue with his strategy.

32. which gets us to something you have already acknowledged
which is that many find HRC untrustworthy.

i am not arguing that there is truth in numbers, but that Edwards is obviously giving proper voice to a large body of sentiment across the country and acrros the party.

again, I ask of MethuenProgressive, what part of progressive does he/she purport to embrace?

40. her supporters have winning in mind, not principle, IMO
I'm sure there are some who look at her and think, "this way of operating, this kind of compromising, this collaboration with corporations, this particular set of policies' appeals to me...

but I've never met them.

the people who support HRC seem to most like that she is leading in the polls.

Between campaign appearances last week, as he rode through eastern Iowa in his campaign van, Mr. Edwards declined to answer whether he would support Mrs. Clinton.

“I’m not willing to talk about that at this point,” he said, waiting silently until the next question was asked.

If Edwards is nominated, the election will be a referendum on the legal system. I vote no confidence. I vote no on Edwards.
