Bush wisdom, # 786
Article II, section 2 of the Constitution of the United States:
The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States

George W. Bush at a press conference, answering a question about Pakistan:
"You can't be the president and the head of the military at the same time."

(unless you can prove in a court of law that you can both walk and chew gum??)

1. I thought the same thing when I heard that.
Do as I say....not as I do philosophy from the United States as usual. No nukes for you.....even though we have them, etc. No wonder the world thinks we are a bunch of hypocrites.

4. There was a NY Times review of an off-Broadway political satire show 2 days ago
While they called some of it "howlingly funny," (it's called
"Political Idol") they said Bush jokes were "stale."

I think Bush himself just proved them wrong.
