One person said it was as if the KKK took over broadcasting on all channels 24-7. Using mass media, both groups persuaded a large number of their population that another group in their community were like cockroaches, meant to be extinguished.

Fox 'news' and hate radio lie, but we are fooling ourselves when we ignore them. I'm not saying they are about to escalate to violence. I am saying we shouldn't for one moment forget the impact of mass media recently in conflict. It is intentional.
